Hello! I'm Maddie.
I design meaningful, accessible, and modern learning experiences with a focus on creativity, technology, and human-centered design. My work blends instructional strategy, visual communication, and the thoughtful use of AI to help learners succeed.
My Story
After 5+ years teaching middle-school social studies, I discovered how much I loved designing learning experiences—creating resources, simplifying complex ideas, and finding creative ways to support learners. That passion led me into Instructional Design, where I now focus on building learning experiences that are meaningful, accessible, and grounded in human-centered design.
As part of continuing this work, I’m completing a Master’s in Educational Technology & Instructional Design through WGU, where I’ve strengthened my skills in adult learning theory, e-learning development, and evidence-based design. I also partner with Kansas State University on a grant-funded initiative supporting faculty as they integrate AI tools into their courses. In this role, I create e-learning courses, instructional media, and practical guides that make emerging technologies more approachable for both educators and learners.
Whether I’m developing instructional media, building e-learning modules, or supporting educators in adopting new technology, my goal remains the same: create learning experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and supportive for every learner.
